Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. Growing up she was influenced by Boleros, classical music and the traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana enjoys tangos and the dramatic and opera performances. Ana began to learn how to play the piano and sing from an early age, along with her mother. She was given more formal training in singing when she reached the age of 16 old with the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The beginning of her professional career included performances with a variety of chamber ensembles and opera choruses and chamber groups in Guadalajara. After moving to the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002, she made her way to southern California. She sings as a soloist Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. The passion and love she has in music, art and performing has her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
