MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His international success has seen him break into mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, the song that he released in 2016, won the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. in Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and also released ADN for his debut full-length album. The album reached the top of the charts at number eighteen in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca is the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in 2020. The following year, Dopamina was his follow-up album. Later in 2021, he performed in a duet with TINI on her streaming smash single Maldita Foto. He appeared in 2023 with 2000, featuring the huge hit La Bachata. Turizo was born into an musical family. His elder brother and mom are both musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music is a must. When he was a kid he played the ukulele guitar and piano. The first goal was to be a vet, but after his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons with the help of a Cuban singer, he altered his career plans.
