Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop singer and flamenco performer. Her work has been in the margins of popular and traditional music since her teenage years, she is also involved in other music genres like Hip-Hop Soul and Trap. Her voice has been said by no less talented than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, but with a bite like the old ones. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, has been a huge critical as well as commercial success. The album topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and received an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami, her third album was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. In March 2022 the set was released following Saturday Night Live's performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was first Spanish artist to perform solo in the program. As well as winning three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
